Creating a financial plan that connects one’s vision, values, and purpose to their financial goals can be a daunting task. Many people don’t even know where to begin.

That’s where The Blueprint for Financial Success and The FREETIC Financial Planning Process can be helpful. Recently, we had the privilege of working with Susan to create a compelling financial plan that would align with her vision, values, and purpose.

We began by using The Blueprint for Financial Success, which is a comprehensive financial planning framework. This blueprint helps people to see their financial life in a holistic way, including areas such as retirement planning, insurance planning, estate planning, education planning, tax planning, investment management, and cash flow management.

Blueprint-3 Sections

To get started, we first had to understand Susan’s vision, values, and purpose. We asked her questions such as, “What are your long-term goals?” “What is most important to you in life?” and “What legacy do you want to leave?” Through these discussions, we were able to get a clear understanding of what Susan wanted to achieve in life and what was important to her.

Once we had a clear understanding of Susan’s vision, values, and purpose, we were able to use The Blueprint for Financial Success to create a financial plan that aligned with those goals. The FREETIC Financial Planning Process was also useful in helping us identify Susan’s financial goals and objectives.

Financial Independence

Financial Independence or Retirement Planning was one area that we focused on. We helped Susan understand the importance of having a plan in place for her retirement and what steps she needed to take to achieve her retirement goals.

Risk Management

Risk Management or Insurance Planning was another key area that we addressed. We evaluated Susan’s insurance coverage and made recommendations to ensure she had the appropriate level of protection for her and her family.

Estate Planning

Estate Planning was also an essential part of the plan. We worked with Susan to identify her wishes regarding how her assets would be distributed upon her death, and who would manage her estate.

Education Planning

Education Planning was another area we discussed with Susan. We helped her explore the best ways to save for her children’s education and reviewed the different options available to her.

Tax Planning

Tax Planning Strategies were also an important component of Susan’s plan. We looked at her current tax situation and identified areas where she could save money on taxes.

Investment Management Strategies were also evaluated. We looked at Susan’s current investment portfolio and made recommendations based on her goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.

Cash Flow

Cash Flow Management was the final area that we focused on. We helped Susan establish a budget that would allow her to live within her means and save for her future goals.

In the end, we were able to help Susan create a comprehensive financial plan that was tailored to her vision, values, and purpose.
